The presentation will be focused on very briefly ships, offshore structures for oil and gas &subsea minerals, renewable energy, aquaculture; as well as VLFS for strait crossing.

报告人简介：

Professor Moan is the member of Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters(挪威国家科学院院士), the member of Royal Academy of Engineering, UK (英国皇家工程院院士), and themember of Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences(挪威技术科学院院士). He got hisPhD in NTNU in 1975. He was the head of Department of Marine Technology, NTH (1984 -1986),and the director of Centre for Ships and Ocean Structures (2002-2012). He is the fellow of theASCE, IABSE, the Offshore Energy Center Hall of Fame, Houston, and Life Member of ASME.He is also the Member of ISO WG for “Reliability of Structures” (ISO 2394) (since 1992-); IECcommittee for offshore wind turbines (2012-); Chair of the Standing Committee of the ISSC(1994-1997); Chair, Norwegian Standards Assoc. Comm. on Reliability of Structures; Member,Council of Representatives from Parliament and Science (since 2002-).
